The US Postal Service has initiated an exciting direct mail service called Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) that delivers postcards or folded mailers to targeted neighborhoods. This allows businesses to select customers near their location with specials or other information but without the hassles of traditional bulk mail.

It includes designing the piece, copywriting, printing and preparing it, doing the post office paperwork, and mailing the promotion. No mailing lists or addresses are necessary, and recipients can be limited to specific carrier routes rather than including areas within zip codes.

This direct mail option offers individual delivery of pieces without needing a specific name or address. Slightly more expensive than bundling with Marriage Mail,  it offers the advantage of super tight targeting by carrier routes.
